Focus Design & Build is an Interior Design & Construction company specializing in high-end residential projects.
With an experienced team of interior architects & designers, Focus Design & Build provide a personalized, relaxed design service from their office headquarters near Chiswick, West London.
Focus Design & Build was formed when the director Barry Matthews saw there was a gap in the market where clients could have all of there design concept and building works undertaken by just one company, removing unnecessary costs and delays caused by works being contracted out to several different companies
With 17 years’ experience in the construction industry Barry had seen on many occasions delays and disputes on projects where builders would blame designers and architects for poor design and vis a versa architects and designers complaining of poor workmanship from builders and having there design requirements ignored. This usually one way or another funneled back to the client’s pockets via extra money to put works right or delays to the project having financial implications.
Barry with his construction experienced hence founded Focus Design & Build and hired 2 like minded designers (Eva & Hollie) and we haven’t looked back since. By keeping everything in house we are able to offer very competitive rates, and any issues or design obstacles are quickly resolved in house enabling the building works to be keep progressing without delay

Our dedicated construction employees have many years’ experience within the construction industry and are fully qualified to undertake all the works they do. Barry Matthews
Director & Founder
Barry has over 20 years experience working in the construction industry.
During that time he has developed a keen eye for detail
He founded Focus Design & Build as he saw many projects fail due to poor management and having to rely on to many moving parts to make the project a success
Focus design was founded on the principal that planning, architectural design, interior design and project construction be kept all in house. This has worked very successfully to date and has sped up conventional project timescales
Barry deals with the day to day running of the construction elements Focus design undertake and liaises daily with the design team to ensuring projects run as smoothly as possible
Eva Radzikowska
Lead Designer
Eva is the lead designer at Focus Design
She has 13 years experience working in the design industry
Eva loves exploring design ideas with clients and takes enormous pleasure in bringing our clients ideas into reality
Hollie Edwards
Designer
Hollie undertakes our construction design service
She is responsible for providing full working site drawings and specifications packages for planning and construction purposes
She also is highly skilled in autocad which enables our clients to visualise our architectural and design ideas prior to construction
